Writer
I am a native of Asheville, North Carolina, and I love
this place like no other. I am truly a mountain girl and
never get tired of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains
and distinct four seasons. I make my living writing
articles on a wide range of topics, but those closest to
my heart are the people, places and events in
Western North Carolina.
Mother
I am a single mother with two beautiful children.
Ben, 11, is on the autism spectrum, but I don't
want that to be what defines him. He has a
wonderful sense of humor and loves all people.
He's into cars and guitars and of course, girls.
Typical boy.
Hannah, 9, is a princess who loves all things
Pokemon. She can doll up as cute as Hannah
Montana or wield a plastic sword with the boys.
She is particularly drawn to all animals and loves
to read nonfiction books about frogs, crocodiles
and snakes.
Two tabby cats round out our household. :)
